I started working toward this business a little more than 5 years ago. Back Porch Photo has become a business I’m thankful for AND the amazing people I’ve been able to work with and help have been such a blessing to me. This is a long one but stick with it! One of the first questions people ask me about my plate wall is “how many have broken????” The truth is, not that many! The best birthday gift I’ve made for my 6 year old, and it didn’t come from one click online 🛠️ I got this pretty silver bowl from @geemacsvintage and put all the Christmas in a neat little stack in it. In 2016 I was elbow deep in diapers and preschool ages. It was such a sweet time. Did I have some giant monogrammed gear…yep. Totally rocked those weird ankle boots with the skinny jeans tucked in too and a custom appliqué raglan t-shirt. Yesterday was an errand running day, and I treated myself to a quick (you believe me, right?) lap around The Bear. I wish I had taken more pics, but these were some of my favorites that I spotted. 2025 was a good year. Anyone else feel like this Christmas was the most scrambled it’s ever been. A lot of that (for me) came from lack of planning and general overwhelm. Don’t like that at all! Last night all I kept thinking about was how can I make this more seamless next year?
